Fender Jazzmaster Blue (1983-1999)
Used by Lee, Kim, and Thurston during these years.  It is noted that the blue Jazzmaster was one of the highest quality guitars the band had during the early 80s and was constantly modified throughout the decade.  Beginning with two gold pickups and four knobs that were removed by 1985,  the guitar was replaced with soapbox pickups and a tortoise shell pickguard.  The guitar is featured in both the "Death Valley 69" and "Disappear" videos.  The guitar was stolen in 1999.
